Laura Kensington is the Head of Behavioral Research at Getsolved, and her real subject isn’t AI — it’s what AI does to a person’s confidence. Before moving into research, she spent years working as a behavioral coach, sitting across from people trying to perform, write, or speak with more confidence than they actually felt — which is where she first noticed how quickly someone’s sense of “this is good enough” can be shaken by an outside judgment, human or otherwise.

Her work sits at the point where writing stops being about grammar and starts being about trust — whether someone believes the words on the page are actually theirs, and how that belief shifts depending on which tool just looked at it. She’s interested in what happens to a writer’s sense of ownership the moment a score appears.

Laura is a go-to voice for stories about the psychology of working alongside AI — the anxiety, the second-guessing, the strange new instinct to double-check yourself. Drawing on both her coaching background and her current research, she’s available for interviews and commentary on how AI is reshaping people’s relationship with their own writing.
